Tour Description
Our Drvar tour combines a bit of Yugoslavic history with an easy hike of the mountains surrounding Drvar.
We start at Titova Pećina (Tito’s WWII cave hideout) where we‘ll learn how the events surrounding the cave changed the course of WWII and how it’s equally interesting for its natural qualities.
The second stop is Bastašica spring and Bastašica cave which is a quite unexplained hydrological phenomenon. There we will have a small break for lunch, to take photos and drink crystal-clear water from the spring. Afterwards, we will drive to Klekovača Mountain where we‘ll climb Mala Klekovača peak. On the way back we will stop at Ethno village Dodig where we will enjoy our-well deserved local food in the ambience of a lovely old village.
After dinner, we head back to civilization.
